Hello people,
This Saturday, we are going to have a hike to the famous Thuringian Castle Leuchtenburg and visit its museum. We take the train until the station of Kahla from where the hike starts by crossing the Saale river on a tiny bridge and going up a steep hill and passing the impressive boulder Dohlenstein with its viewing point. Meanwhile we have breathtaking views on the valley and the forest.
The castle is situated at the top of the hill. For going back to Kahla we will take another hiking trail to have a round trip.
Special thing:
We will visit the exhibitions of the Leuchtenburg Castle, f.e. the โPorzellanweltenโ. The price of the ticket is 10โฌ for students, so please bring it with you in cash.
