Dear hikers,
this is rather a long walk and not a classic hike. So we will meet in the Paradiespark and follow the river Saale until the north of Jena.
Since we walk as close as possible next to the river, there is no elevation and we will find hidden nice spots at the water and some beatiful bridges. Somewhere in the middle or in the end we will have a long lunch break as picnic and swimming, if the weather will be agreeable.
We will end the tour close to Löbstedt where you can take the tram back from the station “Jena, Löbstedt” or the train from “Jena Zwätzen”. It is also easy to leave to trip before, since we will stay inside Jena.
